Star Cars

Star Cars was established in 1962 after the merger between Star Taxis and Z Cars. After a short period driving for the company, Grahame Markham decided he wanted to invest, purchasing the business in 1984, the company is now run by wife Jackie and daughter Emma. Despite being a family run business, Martin Walker, who has been a part of the company since joining as an operator in 1991, has been pivotal to the growth of the business. Since Grahame sadly passed away in 2004, Martin stepped up and recently oversaw the acquisition of local rivals Chads Cars last year and also became the first non-London fleet to become transportation partners for the commonwealth games.
